On 1 August, three new trainees started their training as cutting machine operators at GSR Ventiltechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Vlotho-Exter.

"In these times of a shortage of skilled workers, we are particularly pleased to welcome new junior staff to our company," says Ulf Lücke, Commercial Manager at GSR Ventiltechnik. He and the training managers warmly welcomed the new trainees on their first day.

To make the start as easy as possible, there were some activities for the new colleagues during the first days. At a barbecue, a company rally or guided tours through various departments of the company, the trainees got to know each other and their new environment right at the beginning.

Afterwards, they went to the respective departments. In the near future, the trainees will pass through all relevant company departments. Afterwards, the young people are quickly integrated into the daily business, take on responsibility early on and actively work as part of the respective teams right from the start.

"In addition to hiring experienced employees, we deliberately focus on our own training within the company. We want to give young motivated people the opportunity for a good qualified training - and afterwards a permanent place in our company," explains Ulf Lücke.
